Its for the water softener that the landlord has running to soften all the water inside the house. Last year I didnt realize that the tap on the sink was water with extra salt and I had alot of nutrient burn on the plants, haven't had a problem since I quit using it. The outside spigot is supped with water before the softener. 225 approx ppm's I am going to do a side by side and see if and how much better RO at like 9 ppm works, if the 225 is decent it will save me alot of time and money, later this year I hope to be able to put a Sediment filter and RO filter on the well at my spot. Until then I am forced to get ro at the store

it'll work cheaper in the long term to fit a 5 stage ro filter for sure

Yeah its on my list of things needed, just need a good harvest first, so for now its .25 per US Gallon, the thing I dont understand is how high on the PH scale the water is here in the South West? Sometimes its registering over 8.0? Thats with a fresh calibration.

the ro water? it could be high lime content in tap water which would make ph high. just depends where the tap water is from and how its treated. very lucky where i am as the water is soft and have some of the best fresh water lakes in the country.

I took the 4 best looking cuts from the first batch and put them in bubbler buckets and took a fresh set. The cool thing is with just plain old tap and some air bubbles they are starting to show some nice white roots coming thru the rocks and the net pots, looks like some clones are in my cards. As soon as I have viable plants I will start my 1st. journal

u have them in pebbles? i just use the neoprene collar and cut the bottom off the net pots

just the older ones that already started rooting and then stalled, the new ones are in neoprene only
