What time should you water?

I’ve got an indoor grow and wondering if you should water before lights come on or before they go out or does it matter?

Right after lights out.

The best time to water plants is in the morning or evening. in coco i do evening though

Morning watering is actually preferable to evening watering as the plant has time to dry before the sun goes down. At night, water tends to rest in the soil, around the roots, and on the foliage, which encourages rot, fungal growth, and insects.

I thought it was best at night time (after lights out) so the soil doesn't dry too quickly.

If you got any water on the leaves, wouldn't the droplets act like magnifying glasses. Couldn't the lights burn the leaves this way?

I have always tried to water lights on for the reasons professor mentioned above. But if you're dry and you don't think they'll make it to money then by all means water before lights out.

try to stay clear of hitting leaves ,

this is why most people prune the under leaves as the plant get bigger

In veg I water within a few hours of lights on because lights are on for 20 hours.
In flower I water as soon as lights come on because its only on 12 hours.

Water more often that you think you should and it really doesn't matter much to the plant when they get watered just as long as they are watered enough. If you need a time I wood go with 4:20 FTW.
