    How about Polycarbonate?

Its much better than wood as no fungi can feed on it and wont rot. But it lets light through, so for flowering it must be covered/painted. Good luck

    CFLs watts per plant? Nutrients?

Its all about spectrum and lumens. Cfl does not provide full needed spectrum for optimal yield. This doesnt mean you cant use it. Persinally i use mh/hps/cmh +uv and some red and far red for special times of the day. I used cfl in first grow and the results with mh/hps aint comparable to cfl...

Grow Journal - First Time Grow Outdoor

Go to your grow shop and see which brands of nutes they carry and how much you are willing to invest. For the light pls use a timer, you will eventually shock your plants when light time aint precise. If you are seriouse in your grow and want to be self sufficient you have to INVEST abit...

No issues - Just opinions - Any constructive advice

I started cfl, changed to hps 400 and then to 1000w hps, the result was i got a room full of cfl and 400w hps/mh and their ballasts and wiring sitting there wasting space. Dont make my mistake, take the best light before everything.

Help needed - First time grower

Imo try sorting out nutes and soil and water before stressing the plant with training. Instead of all those little unefficient cfls use one hps.you will finally switch to hps, so why not cut the unnecessary expences? A poor fed plant will produce little yield even if you train it. Good luck

    Am I ready for harvest?

It depends on your taste, but i prefer abit earlier when the trich are less golden and almost all cloudy, imo try harvesting in 2-3 waves and harvest some full cloudy and some 5-10% amber. Then you can compare and find your tste for the next grow :) Good luck

    Is it ready?

Stress factors make hermies, thats a fact, bad genetic might be the cause too. You have removed male orgams but the damage was already done. And some balls might be hidden under your buds or between them and youll see them when you harvet. As for harvesting, no, its too soon, but you have to...

Grow Journal - First Time Grow Outdoor

If you could move the plants and the lamp outside it would be best. And use a timer, changing the on/off time everyday aint good for the ladies. I personally do indoor because of the ease of climate contorl, nutes, pests and be able to harvest 4 times per year. AND the police! If not because...

Help a noob with her autos please?

They will be ok if you dont add any more nutes. And from day 14 on, use half strenght of whatever fert you plan to use, maybe even one fourth. Organic acids wont last in soil, so actually you didnt ph your water. Good luck

    Am I ready for harvest?

At least 3 days more, though photos aint that good, so maybe more. Flushing is used to waqh the taste of nutes used, gnats aint a problem now, so if you need to water, flush instead and get reary to harvest Good luck

Can Blacklights Be Used For Growing?

Ultraviolet (UV) light is an electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength from 10 nm to 380 nm, devided into 3 ranges: UVA from 320 to 380nm, UVB from 290 to 320nm, and UVC from 100 to 290nm. Black light lamps aint a single kind of lamp. Different brands produce different lamps producing...

    Wonder what if?

Critical should be much bigger than that. If you could send a close up of bud site might help to know when to harvest. And for the flush, dont overwater it. Just flush it and let it dry, then flush again. Did you use any fertiliser? If not flush is not necessary. Good luck
