I'm glad you soaked enough to cover for the 50% germination rate. I am truly looking forward to seeing how the Zamals do versus Ace's Zamaldelica. Good luck with the grow, PotChimp!
No photos of Inca? I hope she is recovering OK from the topping mishap.
No worries about the pH; you will get it under control and the ladies will be fine. Sometimes I think we over-care for them; they actually are like weeds and usually will find a way to survive (and thrive). Good...
Re: Icemud's Advanced LED XTE Grow - Harlequin - Ogiesel - Black Cherry Cola - Big Po
Hey, Icemud, your new grow should be a hoot so am hoping to tag along for the show. The fewer plants/large pot approach seems to be a great strategy for yields when you have the space & height to let them...
Tent is looking good as are the young gals. They're gonna love those lights! Glad to hear the FFOF wasn't too hot for them; some young'uns love it and others complain a bit at first, but all seem to like it after they put on a few nodes. Nice grow so far.
re: LA's Auto Training!
Great experiments, LA, am looking forward to a very informative show! This may even really upset the conventional wisdom for autos.
Just two quick questions: when you have topped your autos, between which nodes do you do the first topping and have you topped'em more...
Hi Catman, just found your new journal and looks like you are off to a good start with the photos. You mentioned that you were gifted some bag seed and received a seed order but didn't tell what strain your babies are. Please fill us in (if known) or at least whether they are indica- or...
Hey, Dr.Z, you've hinted that the Ace gals are getting pretty big and the photos look great, but can you give some estimates on the height the various strains have reached on 11/13 at end of stretch?
Pure sativas can be quite a handful for those of us with vertically-challenged grow spaces...
The Kwazulu is that short? Your photos show an amazing frosting, I guess it put all of its energy into trich formation. Am glad to hear it is so aromatic, it is a very interesting strain.
Interesting thought there, DrZiggy, it sounds worth a try. The pressure won't increase solubility into the butter but may disrupt the cell walls enough to enable more efficient or more complete extraction of the goodies. I love science!
The girls look great, NateToke! You will have an insane amount of light for your next grow and I'm sure the results will show the benefits. The plants sure do seem to love the Platinums. I'm a believer too and am in the waiting line for a P450, now about 3 weeks backordered. It will be worth...
Is great to see that the Platinums are giving you such nice tight nodes on these pure sativas. Not a spindly plant in sight, they almost look like indicas.
