10 on 14 off

Does gradually reducing light time down to 10 hrs over the last 1-2 weeks help speed up the process. Have any impact?

Hey Kev.n, Yah 10/14 has pros & cons bro. runnin 10/14 will make your ladies mature faster, and will allow you to harvest them earlier. Downside is you will definitly yield less. It still is your choice tho depending on your patience level and how bad you need your meds.

hard to say people say that herb grown outdoor has a better taste I always wonderd why could it be one of the reason that seasons do change and go to 10 hours of light. ncant hurt to much are they out doors or in

I have been taught 12/12 is the best ratio by someone that has been growing indoors for 25 years, he has tried evry combination possible and found 12/12 is the way to go. I have no reason to re-invent the wheel

It has been researched years ago, ref. MARIJUANA BOTANY by Clark(e?).

For sure, reduces potency and IIRC yield also.

Stick to 12/12. As Pit says, no need to reinvent the wheel.
