34 days in - 5% amber plus pink/purple trichs?

Random seed I got from a friend who has been growing the strain for years and forgot the breeders name. Anyhow, the plant is starting hermie very badly and I want to get rid of it so I don't mess up my other 3 plants of a better strain.

I am 34 days in since I switched to 12/12 and decided to check the trichomes today even though I know they need more time. I am seeing 5-10% Amber but also seeing pink/purple trichome heads scattered all throughout the plant and more concentrated as they go towards the bud. I've never heard of these color trichomes before and even thought it was just the lighting but it's not.

Any thoughts? Also would it be a total waste to just cut the plant and dry it out now?

Also I should mention, I'm not looking on the purple looking bud lower on the plant on the picture, I am seeing them on green plant matter towards the top of the plant

those are not trichs the trichromes are the tiny little white things in the back ground if you zoom in a little closer they look like mini water towers my microscope will be in soon cant wait to share pics, here is an example, I believe you have pink and purple pistols, and very very nice ones

It sorta does look like the trichs are purple hey must be clear and retracting those colours from the pustols
