I'm pretty sure he meant without the purple light...
They seem to look pretty good- a pic in natural light would be nice, though...
Yes, please turn off the LED pod light and just use normal room light or put a lamp near the tent door. It is a lot easier to see the true colors of the leaves and stems with white light.
When the purple light is on we will automatically compensate for the purple and notice any color that is not normal. But, the camera just sees purple and gives a purple picture.
If there is a problem starting up then a picture in natural or white room light will help some of the more knowledgeable growers notice that something is just starting to go wrong.

Very pink from over here. Try a pic after lights out with your flash.
