May I please ask what all this hub bub is about the Cap Junky seeds? I am not being negative I just don’t understand where all of a sudden it is everywhere I’m hearing about these seeds. Are they steroid seeds? Robotically enhanced? I’m curious why everyone seems so high on these seeds? Seeking education not argument . Lol!!!!

"Cap Junky is an extremely potent, pungent cannabis strain crossing Alien Cookies x Kush Mints #11. The cultivar is a collaborative project between two of the most important modern breeders, Capulator and Seed Junky Genetics. Seed Junky sold Cap Junky clones for $1,000 each in 2021. Capulator's farm affiliate L.A. Made sold Cap Junky flower in 2022 in California's adult-use market. The Alien Cookies helped make the top strain MAC. Kush Mints became the backbone of Seed Junky's Minntz brand in collaboration with Cookies. Cap Junky smells like sour fruit rind with hints of pepper, gas, and dank. Well-grown buds are sleeted with maximal trichome coverage. Its smoke tastes astringent, peppery, and hits very smooth. This maximum-THC cultivar is for experienced smokers only, with an intense, long-lasting euphoric effect."

I asked because I had seen Gainesville Green I think growing one but didn’t remember where he got the seeds. So I looked at a couple of different seed banks and never found anything. Anyway I was just curious 🧐 about it. I’m a Sativa lover so it’s not really anything I would want but I was curious 🤨. Hope that helps. lol 😂 CL🍀

Where did you find your Sativa Chemdog #4 seeds? I always thought of that as a 50/50 hybrid like the Cap Junky and not a sativa strain.

@Jon I can say this with all sincerity that for me personally Cap Junky is the best strain I've ever grown overall. Have I grown strains that tasted better after a cure, I have indeed. Have I grown a strain to match the trichrome production of the Cap Junky strain, yes I have but only one. It's a simple plant to grow, it loves training, is easy to clone, and the final product is dense, rock hard nuggets that really pack a punch. From what I'm told it's a fantastic strain for squishers who like rosin. I've grown some really excellent strains in my short 8 years of growing and the Cap Junky is my overall top strain. I typically don't keep mother plants for very long because I like growing a variety of strains but I can't make myself let my original Cap Junky mother plant go.
Super easy to clone. I did 2 in the windowsill in a shot glass. Now even taller than mom.

I had to, that was my last CJ seed

Just order more from where you got the other ones.

Wasn't a seed brother. It was a cut that I received from a friend.
No s1 seed is going to be close to the cut/original, imo.
Great plant you have Captain!
Cheers,

Thanks brother I appreciate that. I really just grew it because it was a freebie n something different. But I was surprised when I read up about it from @Herbies Seeds. CL🍀

Morning @noydb07! :high-five:
The Gorilla Bomb I grew last season was from a seed gifted to me by Bomb Seeds a few years ago.:thumb: Hope that helps in someway!;)

Thanks @beez0404! That’s a damn thorough and thoughtful answer and much appreciated. I have people coming at me about this damn strain and I had to know more. Gracias!
