Is this true before harvest 48 hours of darkness to increase resin?

what is true is that MJ plants use more of their stored supplies when its dark.
So a long dark period before harvesting has the possibility to produce slightly richer buds and clean out some of the nutes still stored in its fibers.

I've never done it before but I have heard that it's a very good technique to increase resin in the buds and make them"stickier".

48-72 hours of darkness before harvest is the theory. It's all about death. When she is in the dark that long, that late in bloom, the stress and want to reproduce makes her give 110% to seed before she dies. She has no idea there are no seeds in there. This is suppose to increase resin production.

Yes I have. Didn't do a side by side comparison, but it came out good. Here's the thing...if you grew them right, they will come out good. Just wait until their done to harvest. The rest is just theory.

i heard of 48 hours.....I also heard 48hours before you switch to 12/12
