Add paper to MESH DRYING RACK?...

Picked up 8 layered mesh drying rack and was wondering if you
PLACE NEWSPAPER UNDER THE BUDS WHILE IN RACK?

also should you HANG BUD ON A LINE UPSIDED DOWN BEFORE RACKING IT?

I use a mesh rack rather than hanging, and it works great for me.

No, no paper is needed, the mesh is generally very open, so plenty of air can get to the flowers.

I cut, trim and lay directly into the mesh, which does have the effect of making the bud a little flat on the side that is down, against the mesh.

Other than that, they dry perfectly and really, in truth, if you want to be really lazy, you don't even have to turn them over or anything, you can just lay the branches down and come back in a week, it's just that easy.

OooOOoooOooo, ya, a little high.

Try a dehumidifier.

That should do the trick, it's an expense but invaluable if you can't get the RH down via better air circulation...

i know its not the best way but what if i blow a fan softly on the rack to compinsate for 65% humidity.
This could speed up drying making the chance of mold go down.

Not sure if its worth the risk?....
