Adding worm castings to Fox Farms soil

I am starting a new grow. I have both ff OF and happy frog. Can I add worm castings or would that be too much? How much would I add? I'm obviously mixing in perlite as well.

I will be using Mega crop. Also I have humates, would adding that to my fertilizer help? Perhaps mixing happy frog AND ocean forrest? Whatever combination.

No problem mixing in 1" of worm castings, but I would also mix in some pumice, and biochar to lighten it up and get better aeration.

I have mistakenly top dressed too much castings before and as @Nunyabiz mentioned, they can compact and not allow proper absorption or drainage for that matter.

Is it worth while to just put a top dusting on when I feed? Feeding every 6 days at the moment. Water, feed, water etc

Wouldn't it be better to burn thru the built in nutes of FFOF first before adding worm castings or any other amendments?
