Those calyxes aren't swollen yet, if you harvest now you'll sacrifice some yield. I'm guessing you like racier highs?

The part of the flower that the pistils come from. It'll become a seed pod if your plant gets pollinated. They swell in the last two weeks (or thereabouts), really put on some weight, get denser.
You should check the trichomes on the calyxes, not the sugar leaves, the trichs on the leaves start to change colour first.

Can't see the whole thing, but I'd give it more like 2 weeks based on the pistils and the size of the calyxes, and keep checking the trichs to make sure to get the kind of high you like.
I had a light fall on a plant after 6 weeks of flowering, broke the stem right off. The trichs were all clear. I dried it anyway, got a very fast hitting high, extremely racy, but it faded really fast too. Was kinda disappointing really. You don't want to chop early.

You've got a lot of white hairs yet. Plus bud size . I'd say 3 weeks olus

Not really plants put on most of there size in the first 5 to 6 weeks and then they mature.The last few weeks is mostly focused on thc production and maturity.Yes they may get bigger but not by much.

the buds will get much fatter, and heavier... she shouldnt even be able to hold herself up at the end
He hopes from what i see he is maxed out.If you want to put on more weight that late in flower your plant needs to be perfectly healthy still yours is not.

I've always had my buds swell the last two weeks. They're definitely done stacking by then, but what the plant has already made, each individual calyx, gets bigger. I think that's what that quote meant by ripening.

Back to the subject at hand, you have a ways to go before you're done. Unless you start seeing majority cloudy trichs I wouldn't chop, and I would give it another two weeks before I even start looking at them.

The swell can be explained bye water up take that is quickly lost during the drying process when buds then shrink back to there true size.
But i agree go the whole way so you know it is done.I was just saying most of the weight and size is done by end of week 6.
