Any Experience With Maine Clone Lemon Tree?

i have a chance to acquire this clone,but its pricey....$400 with shipping....its the verified maine cup winning clone....buddy said its straight up lemon flavor.....could anyone with experience verify that its a pure lemon taste/smell?

I can't see paying $400 for a clone even if I was a breeder, especially one that you are taking a chance with it being lost or killed during shipping. Let alone how does it become "verified" or how does one really know? Plenty of Lemon type Strains out there be it Clones or Seeds, and you could get a whole mess of those for that price.

ive been looking for pure lemon for 10n years,tried dozens of so called lemon strains,only timewarp from seed way back was pure lemon...i could spend a grand on seeds and not be guaranteed a pure lemon pheno

and im not asking about seeds,im asking opinions from anyone who has experience with the reel lemon tree
