Any way to affect ripening time?

My plants are still at the same % of cloudy and amber as they were 2 weeks ago. They have filled in some, but the trics are not changing over. Is there a way to speed the process? I have to harvest this week due to other issues, but they are refusing to go amber. They are almost all cloudy, but I see very few amber trics.

There are a lot of old tricks people use but really its hard to say. I will say this the trics will continue to mature during the dry/first week or so of cure.

I hope you are able to wait it out basement grow... maybe they aren't turning as fast as you would like. I will say though if you can hold out... the extra bulk you should get will be well worth the wait!

you can decrease the amount of light to speed things up a bit. Switch to something like 10/14 or 9/15 and they will speed up a little bit.

i hear infrared can hasten the start of flowering, but not sure about finishing. UV is suppose to boost potency and i think it may accelerate ambering due to uv damage to the trichs.

other than that, just cook it as long as you can then cut it down at the last possible second, it will still go amber when chopped...just rember that technically cloudy is ripe, amber is rotting
