I've been checking out the cmh lamps and am thinking of swapping over next time I change my bulbs. I run 400 watt hps and it looks like philips has them. They are apperantly made to run on magnetic ballast only and 400 watt is the biggest size they make. Which all works out for me as that is what I run.

My question is this: Has anybody tried them? And is the results of using them significantly better than HPS?
I do know they run a bit cooler than HPS, which is an advantage I can use, I just don't know how well they are for my plants.

I use a Ceramic Metal Halide in late veg and flowering (I also have a 600w HPS running in late veg/flowering) but I love the Ceramic Metal Halide. It is a full spectrum lighting with a very high red end and good blue end as well. You can use it full cycle and there cheap
