Bag Seed 2.0

In the bucket. Switching to purified water made a big difference.

Day 17. Started LST training and transplanted after the cut healed from topping. Trimmed off the lowest single blade serrated leaves. Nice skunky smell coming from the trimmed leaves. Not sure if that’s indicative of a female but it’s nice. I put a couple small worms in the soil so they should help. I’m probably going to switch to flower after another 2 weeks of growth to keep her small. Just gave first feeding the other day. Tiger bloom/ CalMag in purified water with a 6.1-6.5 pH.

Couple of leaves I trimmed off today. I’m hoping the purple is genetic as opposed to a sign of deficiency. They are otherwise green and healthy so I’m confident it’s just genetic. Any input is appreciated.

Put her in her final pot which is a shallow 1gallon to maximize space. Replaced the wire LST tie downs with hemp string. Just purified water to water it in for now. Nute drank next feeding.
Upped the lights and added both spectrums so it’s nice and bright. 2x 1600 lumens 5000k and 2 1600 lumens 2700k inside a 5 gallon bucket lined with reflecting material so it’s nice and bright and warm.
Kinda dry until the weather breaks and I can keep a window open so I put a cup of water right in the intake vent. Should help.

I cut two staggering skits in the vent tube and put some heavy duty screen in them. Plus covered the end in screen. Did the same to the exhaust vent I rigged up antbthe fan opening. Does great as a light trap without interrupting air flow.
Any input/ advice outsidevthe much appreciated likes is encouraged! Lol.

Any recommend?
I think foxfarm's liquid veg nute is called grow big.

Also, it does look like your plant is showing early gender like you noted - she looks real young to be doing so but healthy none-the-less. Some of the color and the super early calyxes may be from using a low N, high PK flowering nutrient.

FUUUUUUUCK!! So I was re adjusting the LST strings and I accidentally broke off AN ENTIRE MAIN ARM!! I was planning on starting 12/12 as mentioned but then this. So I re configured the LST, maintained the 18/6, so we will see if she recovers. I was thinking a CalMag foliage spray might help it heal better but any input would be helpful before I do.

So I think I will be able to salvage this grow. I adjusted the LST points and made kind of a star pattern. I’m not a huge fan of “lollipop” de foliating but I was just trying to figure out a way to bring it back.

I also finally got some Fox Farms Grow Big today as well. The soil was getting near watering time so I fed/flushed her till I got about 35% runoff. I put a full Teaspoon of GB and 1/4 teaspoon of CalMag in a 1 Liter bottle that I use for watering (1 gallon pot)

Hopefully she starts growing more normal now that I have a relatively flat table of branches. I’m gonna probably veg an additional 3 weeks or until she puts out enough leaves to initiate flower. I’m trying to keep her short so hopefully she flourishes within 2. I used tap water for this one watering. Hopefully that doesn’t make a huge difference. I’m gonna get some more spring water tomorrow so I’ll be good in a few days when she’s hungry again.

Well I was checking on her today and made the decision to clip off the remaining main arm that was left and let her concentrate on the four blooms. It just made sense since A) It made the plant lopsided as hell to train and B) my goal from the beginning was to keep her short and this helps me do that a lil easier.

I’m just gonna restart my grow clock and veg from here for 2-3 weeks. She’s probably stressed something fierce. Once she recovers I feel like she will grow nearly exactly as planned and pictured in my mind.

Just an update on setup:
Single bucket space bucket with one spacer
Foil lined walls and lid for reflection
2x 1600 Lumen 5000k LED household bulb
2x 1600 Lumen 2700k LED household bulb
4” intake vent at bottom
4” fan exhaust in lid to draw out heat
Potting soil in 1 gallon shallow pot
1 full Liter purified water used each watering with about 35-40% runoff
1tsp. FoxFarm Grow Big
1/4tsp. CalMag added to 1L.
I don’t have as much perlite in the soil as I want which is why I water with so much runoff. Any advice about this is appreciated.
