There’s information on sativa almost anywhere we look.I chose to try growing indica.Total newbie with this line.Is there some tried and true method of determining how long the budding process should take for an outdoor grow?Is there something to look for or at that would let me know the process is done?Would also appreciate anything on moving indoors.Very cold here in winter.Thanks.

Hi Sicntired.... If you are referring to how long flowering takes with most strain's to develop buds there are a lot of different factors to consider, environmental conditions, light intensity, soil used, watering techniques etc... Most cannabis plants around these days are a hybrid meaning a mix of both sativa and indica genetics and now thanks to auto cannabis plants we now even have ruderaluis genetics in a lot of the cannabis strain's offered in the market today. On average Indoors after flipping the light to a 12/12 schedule a sativa strain can take anywhere form 10 to 14 weeks to finish and with indica genetics its usually a shorter flowering period anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to fully mature buds and auto's they bloom when they have reached the age of maturity to bud so no light cycle change needed. As for outdoors some Cannabis plants strains finish flowering as early as September, With most strains finishing in the mid to late October range in the northern hemisphere... Lol hence Croptober! ... Also a good guide on how far along your plant is in forming the good rich thc buds is watch the trichome colours, If your not sure what that is, there is lots of how to guides you can read on here at 420 forums that will help you out alot with your grow, and probably answer most questions you have. ;)
