Bugs in soil

I used Fox Farm Planting Soil. Placed my seeds in the pots a week ago, it hasn't sprouted wondering why it took so long, some other ones did within 2 days. I dig up the ones that did not sprout and saw there were micro bugs around them munching away at the taproots...

These a small jumpy types, not sure what they are exactly.

How to go about in dealing with this? Should I add water and drown the bugs or dry it out then reuse the soil? Or should I throw it all away?

When I had this type of issue I used neem oil. Mixed some up and just poured it on the soil. If I remember right I do believe I had to do it twice. I waited 3 days b4 the next application

Thanks buck! I will try that. Hope it doesn't affect the growth of the plants.

theres no affect except that your plant might show an over watering. after you treat the first time just check to make sure you got em.
