Can I run photos on 20/4?

Hello, currently doing autoflowering 20/4 but next run I would like to start with photos strains and I have space left in grow room currently.

Will they do fine on 20/4 light during veg? I know that bloom have to be 12/12 but is it limited during veg?

Yes you can. My favourite times for vegging is 18/6, but what ever most suitable for you!

I think that 18/6 is classic. Thats why I asked if I can do 20/4 if that wont hurt them or change their life cycle. Most people do 18/6 but my autoflowers are used to 20/4 now so I dont want to back it to 18/6

plants love their dark periods. Some believe that that’s when they do their most growing. I personally like the 18/6 because A) they love their dark periods, B) because to me the extra 2 hours of power being used isn’t worth it to me per day. Nothing wrong with 20/4, I just have my reasons why I do 18/6.

even if you wanted to change the plants to 18/6, it wouldn’t harm the plants what so ever. But I understand what your saying
