Can you grow indoors using the sun?

Now this may seem like a silly question, and it very well could be...however I'm wondering is it possible to grow marijuana indoors at a windowsill using only the sun?

It would be best if it was a large window(s) facing the right direction, but yes, sure.

yea one time my friend grew by the window but it stood 2 inches for weeks lol sometimes i take my plants out the box n in the sun, becuz i live on a 2nd floor and the hits good

Prop them up with some tooth picks and slightly mound around the base for extra support.
