Cannabis replaces lithium?

Saw this in a group of Veterans here in Puerto Rico and was wondering if this is true:

And I wonder if all the billionaires that are destroying other countries and taking land and no doubt murdering indigenous people where lithium is found will now just simply grow millions of acres of Hemp on cheap land, making the land more fertile, the air cleaner, and batteries far better and cheaper.

For batteries, an April Fools joke. Cannabis may well be a replacement, though, for Lithium used in the treatment of depression. No medical references, just my personal belief.

Totally fascinating, and yeah there are some threads on the web regarding this monumental find. Hemp is the band aid for some of the world's boo-boos.

Jack Herer's book "The Emporer Wears No Clothes" touches on this topic. Apparently hemp is a wonder plant that could solve many of the world's ills. Unfortunately, anyone can grow it so various big industries have made sure it is illegal.

With marijuana now legal in so many states, can the home hemp patch be far behind? According to Herer, this plant can provide food, shelter, clothing, and medicine. What's not to love?
