Collecting Pollen & Storing Correctly?

So I have a male I want to collect pollen from....I have him separated from my females already. Still a bit to go but when am I able to start opening the sacs to remove the pollen and what's best way to store it.

Here is said male "currently".

I normally used a trimbin. You can use a mirror which works well. Some use a piece of white paper placing it under pollen sacs and tapping the branch or stalk. Just do it In a place where the air is as still as possible

Never done it myself but everything I’ve read says mix it with a small amount of flour and store it with rice. Then it goes into freezer. But let’s see what others say
