I agree with Nunya but do what you can to maximize your results. Level canopy with LST means you can have all bud sites equally close to the light and consider lolypoping because you likely won't have a ton of canopy penetration.

Yes. When they are 12 12 is when you want to avoid it but I bend that rule personally. Just don't want repeat constant light leaks during dark period of 12 12

I tried crippling the stem but got scared. One plant I bent over started growing crooked so I undid it..should I have left alone.

Hard to say with just a description but it probably would be good. You bend the stems down and then the new growth will eventually grow vertical from there. You will get the hang of all this when you get comfortable. Don't forget, it's called weed haha

Matter of fact, the heat lamps gave off too much heat, which is whi the light was high

Not even close to enough light.
If it's all you got then you have no choice but to try to get them a the same height and bring those bulbs down to within a few inches but you're probably just fighting a losing battle.

Yeah you need those lights pretty close. You needed to solve for the heat issue. Fan and air extractor. Ventilation is a major factor cool air in hot air out and circulation. Can't move the light away to solve for heat here

From this set up you can learn some serious skills. It can teach you the importance of light distance and heat etc. You already have them going so see what you can do. Maybe clone a few at the same length and try to get those going. Then you can work on air flow and making a level canopy.

When you say heat lamp? You should be looking for lumens per watt when dealing with screw un type bulbs in my opinion. Also, keep in mind the temp or color. Low or 2700 is for flower and is more red. 6500 is higher or blue and is more for vegetative state
