Crazy Idea: Nitrous Oxide pumped into air stones in the soil?

Would the wee little critters in the soil break down the NO2 into usable nitrogen and oxygen? This would be an very interesting experiment but you'd have to wear a gas mask!
Then of course this raises the possibility of using NO2 in a DWC system instead of air. Another experiment?

I would think air pumped into the soil could be of benefit, if one uses Extreme Gardenings Azos product, a bacterial soil inoculant that fixes N from the air. Disclaimer: I haven't used Azos but it looks to me like it may be useful.

Nitrous oxide is N2O, it is broken down into N and O (various ammonia, nitrite/nitrate coumpounds) in the soil, however, much of the N2O is not converted and is released into the air from the soil. N2O is a powerful greenhouse gas, and extremely harmful to the ozone layer. Doubtful that it would do any good in a DWC.

I wouldn't use nitrous with Azos, either. The little buggers would be too stoned to do any useful work.
Best for those with superchargers and turbo-boosters on their cars.
