Dazed & Confused

Hey everyone, I took a close-up shot of a white worm looking creature that was at the bottom of a grow bag when cleaning out the soil to re-use the bag. I had a male plant that I ripped out of the grow bag to clean and at first I thought it may be a part of the roots but it was not attached to anything. The male plants roots only ended up halfway down in the bag while growing and this white mystery was attached to the grow bag way at the bottom - stuck to the bag wall.
Has anyone ever seen something like this? Is it a worm/bug or just part of the roots?
Hmm.... 🤔

ditto above - looks like root material but think I would either plant it or chop in half just to see what up…
