Do you need to dry trim before making hash?

I have just wet trim my plant and put all the trimmings in the freezer. Should I be drying the trimmings before making ice water hash. If so im very confused into why?

No you can do it either way. Dried material or wet material.

If you're making dry sift yes you want dry material.

Dry sift is the traditional method of making hash and probably the easiest.

I will probably be making ice hash

I doubt it matters but I've never made ice or bubble hash or whatever it is. I like the ease of dry sift and I have a finished product in hand with minimal processing.

Ice water hash requires you to mix the trim with ice and water. Your trim will still work whether its dry or wet
