Agents with the Multi-Agency Drug Trafficking Area received an anonymous tip that a residence at 155 N.W. 82nd Court might be a grow house.

Officials went to the home and while there, smelled marijuana.

A car drove up to the residence and the driver, Nicklas A Erhart, told officials he was growing marijuana and that there were plants inside.

Agents obtained a search warrant and inside found three separate marijuana plant operations and an elaborate system of lights and air conditioning units used to grow the plants.

They found 80 plants that weighed 159 pounds and another 250 grams of marijuana ready for sale.

Erhart told officials he rents the home and splits his time between Deland and Deltona.

Officials say the man told them the hydroponic plants yield anywhere from $2,700 to $3,200 a pound.

Erhart was charged with trafficking marijuana, renting a residence for the purpose of trafficking marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

DUH!!!! :roorrip:

There is more to it than that. Altho he did willingly admit and didn't flex his rights I'm shure there's a good reason for just admitting. the fact that the police had a warrent for the house might have been a factor or the stress of having every cop for miles standing around you because they literly have nothing better to do. Oh and by the way, people in florida are not stupid, we just have really dank bud. Maby he was high and didn't want to deal with the bs.
