Experiments In Cloning

Being trapped inside because of COVID-19 I decided to try my hand at cloning.

Had an old ultrasonic mister lying around (original cost $30) so pulled the mist head off, stuffed a cutting in the top, and surrounded it with a card box. Started this on 30th March, the cutting is looking very perky today.

Bought a aquarium pump Sonic AP1200 for $7, and a bucket with a lid $1.50, added some aquarium pipes and mister nozzles $5. Some work with sticky back plastic and a Kraft knife this morning, 6" of plastic hose and a wire coat hanger, and I have my Aeroponic cloning tank up and running. Total cost $15.

I just threw a bubble cloner together last night in about 30 seconds using an old Folgers coffee container. First time trying cloning like that too. I hope mine root in 7 days lol.

Looks beautiful! I've never clone like that before I've always used soil. What did you use in your liquid?
just tap water ...... ph 7.4
no special techniques, snip with old scissors, stick in top of mister.

I've also built an aquaponics cloner, about 15 usd.
bucket with lid, aquarium pump, pipes and spray nozzles.
that's been running 4 days, perky cuttings but no roots yet.
