Hello ladies and gentlemen I am working on my first grow now that it is legal in Canada hoping i can keep up with all you wonderful green thumbs out there. Thought I would start on my attempt at my first grow journal I am sure there will be more posts to add to this one with updated photos and info on how the grow is going. So feel free to jump in at anytime if you have any questions or even suggestions I am all ears. Like i said this is my first grow and if I am doing something wrong I would love to hear about it to possibly turn me into a better grower with bigger,Dencer and stickier buds then I could ever dream possible. So I hope u all enjoy the ride and stick around for the show. And now to get down to business.

WHAT STRAIN:
I have 3 Blue Gelato 41 a hybrid from Barney's farm an Indica dominant strain at 60/40% and 1 pink kush hybrid also from barney's farm at a whopping 80/20% indica dominant strain. They are all in there 3rd week of flower.

FLOWERING TIME:
For the Blue Gelato 41 it is 4 weeks for veg and 9 -10 weeks for flower.
And for the Pink Kush it 4 weeks for veg and 9 weeks for flower.

INDOOR OR OUTDOOR:
I am doing an indoor grow in a 4'x4'x6'6" tent from Viviosun in a 50/50 mix of promix xp and promix hp soil in 3 gallon pots.

LIGHTING AND FANS:
Running a 600 watt Viviosun air cooled HPS and MH light keeping it at 16 to 20 inches from the light. With a 6 inch fan and filter from Viviosun and a 6 inch oscillating fan also from Viviosun.

ROOM TEMP AND RH (humidity)
In the day time hours I am getting between 74 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit with an RH of 40 to 45%.
At night I am getting anywhere from 68 to 73 degrees Fahrenheit and an RH of 45 to 50%.

PH OF MEDIA:
I had a problem with my media PH when I first started cause I was just using the promix hp but it was dropping my PH from a 6.5 to a 5.3. My buddy told me he had the promix xp and it was bringing his up from 5.5 to 6.2 so I mixed the two together when I transplanted for the first time with a 50/50 mix of the two soils and it balanced it out allot better. Started putting in Ph of a 5.8 and the runoff came back at 6.2.

PESTS:
None at the moment but there is still a long way to go I am trying to keep a really clean room with vacuuming and using Lysol wipes after every feeding.

WATERING AND NUIT'S:
I am using 5 gallons of R/O water per watering with just over a liter of runoff per plant every 3 to 4 days. I am using the full Remo supercharged kit line but only at 66% strength because for some reason it spikes my PPM like crazy and drops my PH from a 6.3 to a 4.5 and at 66% of what Remo's feed chart says my PPM comes alot closer to what it's recommended for PPM on Remo's feed chart. Also I use 2 nuits from advanced the Rhino skin and the carbo load.

FIMMING AND L.S.T/ETC
So far I have fimmed each plant super cropped them all and threw in 2 scrogg nets still struggling with the even canopy but all in all pretty close.

Looks great and you have a really nice even canopy there, what are those runoff trays your using?

Lol you like that why there from the dollar store just dish rack trays on top of a small platform I made with plywood and 2x4 works great for my runoff

Like the intro, @InTheShed uses the promix hp . I did one plant in it and have plenty on hand . I used nutrients that also brought the ph down and did nothing but put the nutrients in no ph up or nothing.

Thanks west hippy I was a little worried about the intro. I haven't done anything like this before. And for that promix hp that's awesome how that worked out for you. I wish mine worked out like that. It must have been the way my bag was mixed cause it was all messed up. And I know of other people having good results from it as well so I'm not really sure what happend to it. But it almost killed my plants had to transplant a bit early to save them but once I mixed the 2 and said a few prayers added some proper ph water they came right back like a champ. That's what they looked like a day after i transplanted it

Almost done on week 10 of flower I started the flush 2 days ago and I'm Look in forward to the chop finally almost done and my clones turned out perfect I can't wait to throw them into flower now that I got some experience on these strains I won't stress them out as much and should get better quality bit only time will tell thanx all of u for your support and help threw out this grow

They had some issues with ph and with heat stress ended up with some very mild foxtailing
