First time grower, looking for tips on Mars Hydro vegging with TSW2000

On my second girl, I most definitely will be using a different medium than this medium that I made up with regular Earth and a generic Pro mix. The water retention is too much and it seems the bottom of the pots are holding the water as opposed to draining the water, this could be due to condensed packed soil. I tried to keep it as late as possible when I was doing the mix but I feel I may have packed it into tight to the pots. But, this is learning and I'm so into it it's ridiculous. My wife even says I'm spending too many hours with my plants. I have used a very skinny metal prod and poked holes into the soil and turned it around a little bit without trying to bother the roots. I also drilled a few extra holes at the bottom of the pots hoping for the best! Again, I think you guys all we're helping and all the words.

For the first four five weeks I was using nothing but regular soil, then I transplanted in with a little promix and Earth that I had and started using stuff called Green Planet dual-fuel it's a two-part system for beginners grow. Seems to be working great, except for some minor deficiencies but I think that was due to pH levels not being correct which I have corrected since.

The only perlite in the mix was what came with the probe mix that I had used with the Earth. I will be flipping these girls soon and the next go I will be doing the super soil mix that I seen online, well I've seen a thousand but I've come to a conclusion on what I'd like to do.

Today, I decide to make a cooling station for the drivers on my Mars Hydro tsw2000. Dismounting them off the light, and running them outside of the tent to help with heat in the tent and also to keep the temperature of the drivers lower which I think in the long run will make them last longer and run more efficiently. Here are some photos of what I did and hopefully you all out there can come up with some similar idea to help with your growing.

I use sub cools LOS but for the first time am trying Megacrop. It might be worth checking out. I’m not going to journal what is in my veg tent because I want to experiment with the MC not ph adjusting as the mfg says you don’t have too.

That is interesting indeed, I will also look into that mega crop.

That sounds great and sounds fun!, I just started my first day of low-stress training on the girls. For more even canopy and maximize my yield, I will post some photos.
