Flowering For The First Time

I had 2 unsuccessful grows in a row, but I grew from my mistakes and am finally making it to the flowering stage. I wanted to make a journal so I could get some advice and tips so I hope you guys check it out.

I'm going to start flowering on Monday here's some pictures of it now. It's a foot tall.

Also I'm using a
400w MH for veg HPS for flower.
GH nutes (lucasformula)
5 gallon bucket deep water culture system


Some questions, the tips of some my leaves are yellowing but I don't think it's from heat stress and my ph is right around 6.0 maybe i'm using too much nutes not sure.

It's a bit hard to tell from your pictures which leaves are yellowing. If it's the lower fan leaves, this is normal. Otherwise, it could be a nitrogen deficiency. Look at the plant abuse chart which has great pictures and desciptions of how to deal with these sort of problems.

Nice looking plant! Ph for hydro best at 5.5-5.8. Looks like soft nute burn. Reduce the strength to be safe. I always use 1/2 of the recommended dosage. Lucas formula tends to be on the extreme side - high level nutes. Overall your plant is still in great shape.
