Gord Downie Tribute - October 17 2018

Hi All,

I am thinking that they chose October 17, 2018 to "legalize" cannabis as a way to honour Gord Downie.

You may remember that Gord passed away on Tuesday October 17, 2017. So even if the Liberals aren't honouring Gord, all us good cannabis activists and connoisseurs should spark one up in memory of Gord and the music The Trajecally Hip gifted us.

We miss you Gord.

Lets make this a thing!

That was a sad day in my life, Hip music inspired me always.
I'm sure they picked this day on purpose, he was an activist for legalization. Prime Minister Trudeau got quite emotional during his tribute to Gord, so I'd bet that played a factor in choosing the date.

Thanks you for pointing this out. I'll have a puff for Gord on the 17th!
