Gorilla Glue Strain is a highly rare hybrid that was accidentally produced when a Chem's Sister plant pollinated a Sour Dubble plant. One of its founders crossed the leftover seeds from the thrown ensuing crop with Chocolate Diesel a year later, giving rise to the market's best hit.

Its name came from the resin's stickiness and the trichomes' propensity to adhere to scissors like glue while being cut. Buds of gorilla glue are icy, olive green, and have fine orange hairs. Strong undertones of coffee and chocolate are present in the scent, which is highly overpowering and tastes comparable to mocha. If you want to be covert when you decide to try it, be aware that the perfume of both the plant and the burned flower is identical and persists.

Many uses this train to assist them with a variety of issues. Due to its high THC content, Gorilla Glue strain is particularly well-known for its ability to treat chronic pain and muscular spasms. Its cannabinoid CBD level, however, is too low to be sufficiently beneficial for those with more severe medical disorders. Thus we do not recommend it for them.

How Many Different Gorilla Glue Strains Exist?

Numerous additional breeders and seed banks have developed their own strains or phenotypes from the original Gorilla Glue strain since the development of Gorilla Glue. Gorilla Glue currently comes in over 40 different varieties, some of which we will discuss below:

Faster Gorilla Glue (BSF Seeds)

BSF Seeds developed this cultivar known as Gorilla Glue Faster. It has a THC level of 22% and is a Sativa-dominant strain with 70% Sativa and 30% Indica. The aroma is a delicious blend of chocolatey and earthy elements.
Euphoria that gradually transforms into a sedating body high is one of the side effects. Its name alludes to the fact that it blooms extraordinarily quickly—in just 42–45 days. Only feminized seeds of this cultivar are avalablefor sale.

XL Gorilla Glue (DutchFem)

DutchFem developed this variation known as Gorilla Glue XL. According to its marketing, it has a very high THC level that can provide potent and long-lasting effects ideal for both recreational and therapeutic use. One can detect its intense notes of pine in the scent and flavor. And when picked at the proper time, strong chocolate overtones can also be evident. This cultivar takes approximately 9 weeks to blossom and is exclusively available as feminized seeds.

Glue Gorilla Automatic (Zamnesia)

Zamnesia created this Gorilla Glue strain variant known as Gorilla Glue Automatic. Gorilla Glue's autoflowering strain has 30% Sativa, 50% Indica, and 20% Ruderalis. It has a 19% THC level and a bit less than 1% CBD content. This kind is excellent for easing mental stress and unwinding at the end of the day because it has nice fruity and piney overtones.

Is Gorilla Glue Self-Growing?

Due to its potency, you may assume that growing it oneself would be difficult due to its complexity, however this is untrue. Considering how simple it is to cultivate, Gorilla Glue is best for gardeners with average skill.

It does well outside, in warm areas, and can reach heights of up to 80 inches. You can also successfully grow it indoors, but the yields will be lower. Trimming this strain frequently is essential to keeping it healthy since it grows quickly and needs a lot of space. By doing this, you'll also guarantee that you get the most out of the plant and may anticipate large yields when flowering season arrives, which is after eight or nine weeks of growth.

Final Thoughts

One of the most well-known strains available is Gorilla Glue. There is a harmony between being uplifted, euphoric, and relaxed as well as its therapeutic effects. Thus it is very popular. It works wonders to treat chronic pain, appetite loss, and insomnia as well as the signs of stress and worry.

We do not recommend Original Glue for novice users because of its intensity and high THC concentration. But expert users can use it. However, due to its powerful effects, it is preferable to start with smaller doses.

I really dig having GG4 in my garden. I've kept a cut alive now for probably 5 or 6 years and I have to say it is probably one of the most hardy strains I have. It always is happy, never really shows any discoloration or issues (wet soil, dry soil, low nutrients, high nutrients) it seems like its always ready to thrive.

Definitely a great strain for beginning growers and experienced growers alike. One of the frostiest strains in my garden time and time again and makes for an amazing set of genetics to crossbreed with as well.

The high also is heavy, yet functional and the flavor is a nice Pine/Spearmint/lemony/dank terpenes.

Highly recommend with an accent on Highly :)
