growing in florida

when is a good time 2 start growing? i live in south florida

I am wondering the same thing, i have grown indoors very successfully for years up north, but indoors is not an option for me any more. i would imagine some time after the spring solstace would work, however by the time the natural light cycle changes my plants would be 10 feet tall and smelling like a skunk. i don't know what to do????

as do i, umm the local home depot doesn't carry ballasts for hps, for flouro, how many wattts are needed / recommended per sq. foot

I would say late April early May till late October early November would be your ideal outdoors season.
