Help me week 5 flower first grow plants too close light l wanna get a second opinion

I was rushed this morning but wanted to add - nice plants, she is a leggy beast! Even if you break a stem, tape it up and rock on! As far as when to harvest, you need a jewelers loupe or 30/60 X pocket microscope (see pic) to check color of trichomes, about $12 to 15 at grow shop or rainforest site. But for now she has fluffy white pistils growing, as you near harvest the pistils will change color, crinkle up and recede, but the trichs are a better indicator of ripeness. We have a number of seed banks that are sponsors here,

Ok cool. Thanks for the info! And I moved them some more today but I'm noticing more and more redish color hairs now. Prolly 15-20% of the buds if I had to guess. I'll take pic. And I have a magnifying glass I bought from craft store. Guess that's not same thing? Haha my main concern is just when to stop watering and just let them dry up to harvest. (I read somewhere that's best thing to do is let them suck all water dry and leaves start dying then chop it.) They just have been so good this long in, would love to have a successful 1st grow. Sure thing, I can plainly see the trichs but not the colors of trich heads. No way for anyone to tell by that pic, but get some ample magnification & you’ve got this covered!

You have plenty of growth still coming since you are in week 5 coming up on 6. You may have to take her to 11 weeks being a thin bladed Sativa... MAYBE longer. Be patient it will be worth it.

Agree with JohnnieJC3, these should run longer being sativas...

I bent the tall ones over the best I could a few days ago and they seem to be doing good. I was thinking that maybe they need to flower longer than initially thought too. I hoping the buds get alot bigger. This is like week 6 I think. (I'm gonna keep a log next grow, I know I should have on this one but this one wasn't exactly planned)

Looking REAL nice with your tops under the light and frosty. Hey man, just a heads up, I take pictures with lights on too and you can set the white balance usually with a piece of white printer paper. I do this for the Mars lights and my Quantum Board 2x4. It's real easy to do.

Old School right there and is pretty spot on. I no longer look at trichomes under a pocket scope(and haven't for a long time), the plants talk to me.

Make sure you are checking the head of the trichome and the head should be cloudy and swollen. I usually go all cloudy and a bit of amber NOT much. I can tell by the looks of your plant it's not ready. Your looking at 1 or 2 weeks and see where she's at.
