Hi guys and gals I'm Rooster

Welcome aboard! Your beginning a journey, that for a great many of us has lasted a lifetime! You've opened up a can of worms akin to a Pandora's Box. Once your hooked, your hooked. Once you achieve your first harvest and enjoy the first fruits of your labor, realizing you can grow as good a product as anyone else, you are indeed hooked!
As far as lighting goes, opinions are like *ssholes...everyone has one.
Here is mine. For better than 30 years, my indoor growing involved three lights.
1. T-5 for seedlings
2. MH for vegging
3. HPS for flowering
LED has indeed come of age and without a doubt can and do replace HPS and MH lighting with the right chipset. I've also been privy to performing direct comparisons in the two. The results speak for themselves. The Samsung LM-301's are a proven winner. This chipset has dropped our lighting operational costs to 50% of what they were, and it doesn't end there. HVAC cost (and initial sizing of equipment) drops substantially. We flower under pure LED in a 3000k spectrum. We are converting the veg/mother rooms to LED as well, though they are driven at a more veg friendly 4000k.
I look forward to following your journey!

Thank you very much for your honest input. My plants seem to be doing well for the ghetto setup I have. Your garden looks absolutely gorgeous and such a great view you chose.

Its the start of week four so I figured I'd post a few pictures. My memory card corrupted so I'm back to taking pictures with my phone for now. Topped and started some LST on the one, but I think I might just let the squat one do it's thing. Had some drooping issues with one, but I think it was a bit of over watering. Perked up now just in time for photo time. Like I said on previous posts the burnt tips on the second plant were from a light accident early on.

Ok so I have a question and some better pictures that I recovered from bad memory card. The drooping on the top leaves continues. I think it might be too much nitrogen. Any thoughts?

Alright thanks I was trying not to freak out like a parent with the first kids. Thank you to everyone for your help so far.

What's up? Been a few weeks since I've been on. Had growth in the plants and done quite a bit just figuring out training and building a new grow space. About day 40 now so i took some pictures.
