How close should my light be to freshly potted clones?

hey guys, got some freshly rooted norther lights cuttings today have a 600w M/H lamp in a 1.2x1.2x2.0 Tent just wondering should i start high while they adjust and gradually drop it down or just put it straight at 60-70cm

3-5 feet from the tops.

Start high and gradually lower the light. I usually go 1-2 inches a day until I reach the desired height

Just transplanted clones yesterday into 1 gallon coco Smart pots.
I have one of my 315W at 3 feet and will run it that way for a couple of days then add the second 315W and begin lowering until I get the desired height.
