Humidity Q: Will growing in a room ruin the bare drywall? 70%H 70deg

I have bare drywall because I'm remodeling my house. My shed is not ready and we have <30 deg overnite so I'm starting out rooted clones inside for now. It's pretty steady at 70~75% Humidity and I'm trying to kick that up to 75~80%

I have new raw (unpainted) drywall that I'm putting up, will it be ruined with this humidity?

The drywall is standard, NOT bathroom (moisture resistant) type and the humidity is coming from 1 large cool mist and 2 Vics steamers.

I also don't know when I can go to 50%. These are well rooted clones about 6" tall moved to pots a few days ago.

Can I go 50% humidity in about a week if they look healthy?

Ok, forgot the important part: I'm not in a tent, it's open shelf with 7 plants / lights / fans / etc... I have some mylar sheets that I can hang if needed.

Your drywall is more likely to be ruined if you hang the milar with out allowing air to move between the sheetrock and milar. It will cause mold. You will not have any issues with bare sheetrock.

Your plants will get ruined with that humidity, if they've already rooted that's way too high

YOu need to get it below 50 ...... put some fans in there to get the humidity out.
