I was putting a yomatyo cage around my plant and broke a steam and im ready to bud my plant will this hurt the plant in anyway

No.
Most breaks can be put back together and splinted and will heal fine. Not if it’s broken completely off though. In any case it won’t hurt the rest of the plant.
