Curious on everyone's thoughts. This plant didn't flower for the first 4 weeks it was flipped to 12/12, all others did successfully and have been since harvested. I can't find any bannana's anywhere and all bracts I have looked into have no evidence of seeds forming..

Can anyone see anything I'm missing, has this plant hermie'd? Currently from flip this is at 10 weeks now and I'm really having a hard time telling myself to keep the tent going for it vs starting the next round of plants.

Hi Cuz.
What makes you think it has hermied?

Sorry buddy no male manners anywhere, might have harvested prematurely based on white pistils.
here’s whatmine looked like before harvest

Your plants look like they have about 3+ weeks to go

If the plant has been on a 12:12 light schedule for ten weeks, but it didn't reach sexual maturity until after the fourth week... then those first four weeks don't count, lol, and it's at six weeks now.

BtW, none of this has anything to do with whether a cannabis plant is a hermaphrodite. That's like, if your vehicle's air conditioner stops working, wondering if it's because the tires are out of balance.

Thanks all, This one has not been harvested yet its still going

My only thoughts leaning towards possible hermie were:

-delayed flowering compared to all other plants by close to 4 weeks, thought maybe it was caused by stress that I didnt notice

-in the other plants that were harvested i did find 6 seeds altogether and if i had to pick a guilty cause I was leaning towards this plant

Kinda look like leaves but on closer inspection you see they are like little peppers or bananas and not leaves, I didn’t find a seed in that harvest luckily.

I blame the plant I found the seeds. I had a couple of my Blue Dream clones in with other plants which started to throw bananas and they did not seed.

Since I have some clones in the flowering cabinet right now that I know will show bananas soon I will be ready to start snipping. If it is just a small bud then I often cut off the bud, especially if there is more than one spot on the bud where the banana parts are showing. However, later, if I see the yellow banana starting to grow in a large major bud (like in the photos in msg #8) I am thinking of using one of those eyebrow tweezers that can be found in any local drug store. I will try just squeezing the banana to kill it before it starts to release a bit of pollen. I might even try to pull the banana out but not sure I can pull that off.
