Impatiently waiting first harvest in Ohio!

Pic from my iPhone this morning! I am getting so impatient! I don’t have a microscope to check those tris but I know it’s not time yet. Thinking of waiting till first frost here in NE Ohio -just wish I knew when that was! I just love how pretty it looks growing with roses, I had to show it off!

thank you. I wish I knew what strain it is. It would be so much easier to figure out what the heck I am doing. Strange how I got them... my friend had a brother who passed away He was a seasoned indoor grower. When she cleaned up his home she found these and gave them to me. We can’t wait to smoke in rememberance of mark

Well it looks like it may be a sativa but I can't be certain. The fingers on the leaves look quite narrow in the pics. That's a touching story. It's nice that you can do this for him. Bless you

I agree with @ProfessorFlora that it is leaning towards a Sativa strain those leaves look pretty skinny !

Yes - growing cannabis can test our patience. But it must be exercised.

You can get a nice yet inexpensive jewelers loupe to check your trichomes.
Here’s a general idea of what to look for:

Thank u for that...with just a magnifying glass I think the tris are like the second picture now. I just looked at the jewelers thing online and they are cheaper for 30x60x...that will work huh?

A 30x loupe will work fine anything beyond that will give you really great detail but hard to focus when trying to use it on the plant depends on the user really ! I have both a 30x loupe and a 60-100x microscope !
