Indica & Sativa in Cooking

N00b question here. Please be gentle....

I am nearing the end of my first "successful" grow and I was wondering about cooking with my trim. In the past I have just cooked with what I had on hand - mostly indica heavy strains. I was wondering if the same "effects" of the two main strains can be also translated into edibles.

Indica brownies = couchlock
Sativa brownies = more energy, more "up"

I know I have oversimplified the associated highs, but only for ease of understanding.

Thanks!

I would guess that a lot of people don't have their trim separated... Don't know.

I'd love to hear of your results, I've thought about this too at times. I don't think anything in my grow is "pure". They are all hybrids of some sort.

Definitely various strains have different effects, often trim just gets mixed together though. Edibles are a bit different than smoking or vaping though, takes a bit of advance timing and amount eaten can make a difference.
