Late veg droopy plants

Hey ganja lovers

Im in week 8 of my veg just before the flip.

Im growing first time under spider farmer se7000 leds.

My plants look good except from 2 that drooped on my a week ago and havent recover since.

I let the soil (canna pro soil) become overdry incase i was having overwatering but that didnt help.

Maybe it is overwater but i would like some more opinions that may help the situation.

Here is a group shot that you can see other plants looking good except these 2 ladies..

I would like to mention that my temps are 26 to 27c, my humidity @ 50%

I never gave them any nutirents. Just ro water buffered with tap water @150ppm (on the hanna scale) which i ph down with nitric to 5.9 or 6.0 (after talking with canna specialist about the soil he told me to start ph at 5.8 and move up to 6.0 in late veg)

Any ideas guys and girls?

Looks like cal-mag and pH issue to me. I had a similar looking plant and those were her issues mainly. She also liked more nutrients than the others. I'm not familiar with your soil and what it's pH is supposed to be set to. Did you try to flush them?

Hello krissi and welcome to my thread.

My soil is the canna professional soil. Online information says that is buffered to 6.1 with lime.

No i didnt flush and i dont want to do that right now cause they didnt received any salts from nutrients during their 8 week of life.

The ph it cant be so wrong with the soil been amented with limestone isnt it? Atleast the rest 15 plants show me that they are healthy and with nice color on leafs.

You think the goodies are gone from the soil? These 2 plants are my biggest i should state...

I havent yet
I missed that line above...my bad...they are getting hungry. This is when they are the most hungry, actually, flip time. Big things are about to happen and they know it...what are your thoughts on adding in something for them? Anything like a topping, perhaps? Castings, guano? Make a tea?

I just read up on your soil. Most people said the nutrients in it carried them through for a few weeks before they needed to add in more nutrition for them.

soil is peat moss, bark mulch and nutes,, and the nutes might have been an issue once but not any longer.

the ph, however might be tricky with this medium, i might suggest,, and hard to recommend a ph,, but i would say5.8 or a touch lower might be in the ball park,,

so then,, how might you be measuring your ph?

I dont have any of these krissi

What i have is the canna line of nutrients.

One bottle for the veg stage and another one with different formula for the flower phase.

Hello nivek

That's ok. You just didn't give em any of it yet is all? I'm thinking maybe the pH can be dropped down a little like @nivek noted. Some strains are just extra finnicky..

What size pots are they in?
That's a good point they look like 3s and those are his biggest. Maybe he needs to up pot and those roots are getting locked up

It’s quite possible, plants that are root bound can show like they have nutrient issues. I’ve dealt with drooping plants and lighter green colour and being root bound was the issue.

Need to up pot to I would recommend at least 7 gal fabric.
In 3 gal pots with plants that size i don't see how its possible to overwater.
If anything you're underwatering by probably quite a bit which will throw off your pH and nutrients because the nutrients condense.

I do have 30litre plastic pots.

I can flip right after the repot or it will be stressed?

Give it a couple of days after the repot?
