Light height for seedlings

I popped a pineapple chunk seed from barney’s Farms. Placed the seed into the soil and covered lightly with soil. I have a 150w HPS sun system light in my tent. How far should I keep the light above my seed?

Yes it is a 150 watt HPS by sun systems. Today is the first day from wet paper towel to soil.

I'd start at 30" above the seedling, let the seedling grow to the light.

I’ve got it roughly around that height. Seems to be doing fine. Should I work slowly towards moving it closer?
