best way to light proof a white bucket and lid for dwc.

Aluminum Vent tape. Its 15$ for a roll in the HVAC section of any Department store like Homedepot or Lowes. it blocks AND reflects light. As well as keeping your resivior cooler.

For those who didnt know, Black absorbs light, white relfects. thats why the hood milk bottles are white.

a good way to test and see how much light it is block is to put it over a lamp or light bulb of some sort and see how much it illuminates. I did that with a 2L bottle, when i had the aluminum vent tape and you couldn't see any light!

i use a knock off of panda film, "black and white poly" works good, but was kind of a pain in the ass to get it all cut and lined up right. only used it casue i forgot to get the aluminum vent tape.
