buds are fattening nicely and a lot of white hairs grew up, so i guess theres still some time ahead, i just dont know how much

there is some foxtailing on the top of the buds, maybe from the hot days. i was afraid of light leaks causing a reveg but i tested and there arent any
temps now are between 68-73°F and humidity 50-60%
IMG_20201018_180447876.jpg

theres one single bud that is round on the top
IMG_20201018_183942170.jpg

and there is one with one single purple sugar leaf

and 8 days ago a branch broke and sadly i couldnt tape it properly, so i decided to cut it off and dry it on a cardboard box

here it is wet trimmed

i forgot to take a pic of the dried bud but it looked pretty good. the high was very light, as expected for a premature bud, but the taste and smell was amazing, just like the live plant, kinda chemical and very citrusy.

so i finally got a jewelers loupe to see the trichs. and on most of the plant they are fine, but on a tiny part of one cola, thing are a little weird. this part has a purplish color, hairless calyxes, amber trichs and a weird structure i cant identify. is this some kind of disease??

on the rest of the plant trichomes are normal and pretty. to my untrained eye, they seem mostly transluscent with a few milky. could someone help me estimate how much time till harvest?

about the rest of the plant, i think things are going just fine. the foxtailing keeps going, but bud development is good, theyre still growing

most of the time, temps and rh are in the VPD range. right now its 50% and 28°C, but the weather in my city is very unstable. a few days ago it was 40-45% and 22-23°C. worst day was yesterday, temps got to 30°C and RH as low as 25%, but i was able to get it to 40% with the help of an humidifier

and heres the full plant, 130 days old and 66 into flower

That's pretty weird! At 130 days every bud site seems to be growing another bud.

I would let her go and long as she keeps drinking. You may end up having the longest running auto of all time!. :Rasta:

yeah man, gonna let her take her time. but idk if its right to call her an auto, as she didnt autoflower despite the seed, but that helped to get her that big

What light cycle did you grow her under?

i went with 20/4 till she was 2 months old and showing pistils for 1 month already and i realized she wasnt going to flower so i flipped to 12/12
Oh my! You've got a prize on your hands! :Rasta:

well lots of things happened in those last 12 days. at first i found what i thought it was fungus gnats, tiny flies buzzing around wet soil. then i proceeded to get some bacillus thuringiensis israelensis and yellow sticky traps. weird thing is - no gnats were found on the trap, but some were still on soil.

but other things got stuck. at first was those larvae like things. gnats were still present on soil

then the second time it was those mite like things. they werent actually stuck, just hanging out on the part of the trap that goes into the soil. gnats gone (i think)

and now, the third time, i found these things that i cant really identify if its bugs or just dirt

plant looks healthy overall, gonna show her on the next post, development seems to be going nicely. definitely no bugs on leaves or flowers

and here is jovelina, 146 days old and 82 flowering. definitely sativa i guess.

bud development has been beautiful to see. everyday they seem fatter and shinier. i know its nothing near other amazing growers from here but im very proud :)

the hardest thing now is envirnomental control. its been very hard to keep things inside the correct vpd level. the only thing i have to help is my heater, but its less than ideal. with it ive been able to keep around 50% - 25°C, 55%-26,5°C 60% - 28°C most of the time, but if i lose control for some hours it can get to nasty levels like 29,5°C - 40% or 22°C - 74%. I was thinking of getting more light for my next grow but now i think improving envirnomental control is prioritary

Not sure about those last pics, as long as they’re healthy.
yeah, guess im good im close to harvest now anyway :) (wish i could use 420 emojis in my phone lol)

talking about it i think im very close to harvest now by looking at trichomes. opinions would be appreciated. also, those methods like leaving plant in dark for 48h are worth it or just bs? i also wanna know how u guys dry and cure your weed, i was looking at low'n'slow but i dont have a fridge i can use for that
most buds look like this, almost full milky with a few translucent

IMG_20201114_170754985.jpg

im not looking for a more body or more heady kinda high i just want the closest i can get to peak thc and terpenes
