This what i done:
under TL-veg (2-3)weeks
20-30 cm when plants are 2-3 weeks till 5 weeks,
30-40 cm, from 5 weeks.
Just see coverage stays good and spectrum.(also temps.)

Its my first indoor grow.
When seeing the progress and health of the plants all i can say is those lights are awesome for their price,
Results will show up in 8 more weeks when harvesting begins
and than can make final conclusion. 
Can't realy compare to HPS,(lended from friend for a week until mars2 arrived)
With HPS temps got to high also.
