Mixing light types

Throughout my growing hobby I’ve ended up with multiple light types. LED, Cmh and HID.
With one grow room I run two different lights. Room is 36” x 60” So one end is type a, the other type b and they bleed into each other in the middle. Is there any issue doing this? Do the plants get stressed maybe moving from one end of the room to the other?

I just do it assuming the plants don’t care.. light is light logic.

I’ve never been blessed to have lights last long enough to ‘build up’ on me like that, but I don’t see a reason as it is the spectrum you are after, not the generation. Of course, heat differentials, distances, etc. might be a PITA, but other than that, mix away I would say. You may even get some benefit from some spectrums that different generations (like CMH) that broadens the ‘middle’ of your spectrum, even though we like to stay in the reds and blues. Good luck, and hope that helps for what’s its worth!
