Most Efficient Way To Grow

So I have been looking over many different designs and set-ups for grow-ops over the past few months and was trying to create a system that is designed to be ultra efficient in a small space. More bang for my bucks is what I'm going for here. I have been looking at setting up a Verticle Aeroponic system. I was looking at a hexagon shaped system with 4 tiers holding a total of 96 plants. Probably set up two reservoirs or combine two to make a joint reservoir so everything is on the level. I was trying to build a system that I could fit into a walk in closet along with a separate vegging set-up. I have only done small-scale hydroponics at this point, and a few nice batches have come from that, but I'm ready to grow more. For space, light, and nutrient requirements to allow for as close to perfect growth, is a verticle aeroponic system going to create the most plants fastest in the smallest space?
