Multiple seeds 1 pot?

I was curious if anyone has grown multiple plants in the same pot? I mean either from clones or seed. Was wondering if maybe if close enough together maybe they would sorta grow into each other kinds like how trees grow around things or if maybe theyd cross pollinate somehow?

It isn't done a lot, but multiple plants in one container doesn't do anything except lower yield for each of them (less soil and less light for each).
I'm not sure what you mean by cross pollinate. If one is a male and one is a female, you'll have seeds regardless of how many pots are used.

Grafting is the word I was thinking of. How you can cut one stem of a plant and tape it to another both with 45 degree cuts and you tape it with a splint and they grow together. It's how they make multiple fruit trees.

Was wondering if they were planted in the same cube or same small hole if they would graft naturally?
